We want to cooperate, to exchange and to promote dialogue between people of different (inter) national backgrounds and
professional disciplines through performances, workshops and publications.

We approach differences as enriching rather than threatening. New fields can thus be discovered.

CARAPACE foundation is about the search of the unknown.
Artistically, culturally, personally and interpersonally. The fear of the
unknown can only be negated by curiosity. However, the encounter
with the unknown can cause confusion, alienation and even detachment.
It takes courage to overcome the familiar frameworks. It requires
perseverance to keep discerning clearly what the essence is. And in
​connection to the core, new links, forms and visions can arise.
