"My roots are in fairy tales and stories. My first language is music.
Since very young I have had a strong attraction to explore boundaries
and to discover the area outside boxes; geographically, socially,
culturally and inwardly. This curiosity led to many trips and meetings
and to a continual searching journey to the essence of my theatrical motives. "
Ganna studied text theatre, physical theatre and worked for 5 years in the circus (from France through and outside Europe). Then she studied modern clown techniques in France. Since 20 years she trains adults in different countries in clown- and theatre techniques and makes performances with youngsters. Her fascination has always gone to clarity and unambiguous expression. She has experienced that inner motives are sometimes deeply hidden and that through clown- and theatre techniques a lot of personal motives, patterns and blockages can get material to play with.
Since 1994 Ganna has been working as a director, trainer/personal coach, and actrice in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Senegal, Morocco, Haiti and Ingousjetia. With children, youngsters, adult amateurs and professional actors, clowns, musicians and dancers.
